Did I mention that my town has a castle? It’s a little weird that just an hour hike from my house there is a large, three story castle, but it’s there and it’s real. I visited it the other day and got the scoop about why it’s unoccupied. The caretakers of the castle allowed my friend and I to go inside and kindly answered any questions we had about the place. Apparently it’s the future home of the priest that is currently residing in Sipe Sipe, a little town outside of Cochabamba city. As soon as the father is done w/ his work there he’ll come to my town and do more of his work. I asked when the father would arrive in our little community and the caretaker said he wasn’t sure. So, I asked him when the house would be finished and he said maybe in another two years, which means I probably won’t meet the famous priest who will live in the castle down the road from me. Oh well, at least I’ll get to see it as it is completed!!!
