Hello Everyone!
It has been a little over 10 days since I've blogged and I apologize. My mom has been recovering just fine from her small surgery and is doing well. I've been covering for her and my dad at the family business so once I'm home, all I can think about is being a couch potato and watching mindelss television! haha!
The purpose of this blog is to spread the word of a really worhy cause that a peace corps friend of mine started just a few weeks ago. Tammy has lived in Sanyang for almost a year now and is a hardworking and determined volunteer. She is raising money so that she can provide proper bednets for the people of her community in Sanyang, Gambia. Rainy season is approaching and with the lushness of the country so comes disease carrying mosquitoes!!!! These bednets will provide some safety against this terrible disease.
