the CNN building in Atlanta

While my cousin Jim was down to visit we went to Atlanta for the day to visit the city and see my little sis. She has an internship with the marketing research department of a branch of Comcast just North of Atlanta.

If you don't know whose nose Jim is picking, it's Larry King's! lol! We didn't take a tour of the news building, instead we just browsed around the CNN store (and took silly pics with the posters). I don't know who the store sells their CNN plastered t-shirts, teddy bears, and caps to, but I guess people buy them. (?)
me and Anderson Cooper, man is he good lookin'!!! HA!

We wanted to get a drink at the top of a swanky hotel in Atlanta so we could get some nice views of the city, but unfortunately the bar was closed when we wanted to go up. We went right between the end of lunch and the beginning of dinner. We were a bit shocked that non hotel guests had to pay a $5 entrance fee to enter the rotating bar, but were willing to do it AND spend an exorbitant price for drinks had the bar been open. I can't even remember the name of the hotel, that's how great our experience was. ha!

So, the next time you're in HOTlanta, check out the CNN building, ask one of the sales associates of the CNN store the name of the hotel with the rotating bar, enjoy a drink, the views, and then come back here and rub it in my face about how cool of an experience it was.
