It's hump day and almost over. Exciting news, I got the day off from working for mama and got to do a little more job searching and (drum roll) I found one that sparked enough attention in me that I wrote my cover letter and customized my resume for it right away. I've sent it to several friends for proofreading. Fingers crossed I won't have to change too much and will be able to send it by the end of the week.
In other news, I went to a very favorite place of mine, the Waffle House to meet up with a long time friend, Coach T, aka Chelsea! I decided to take a little break from job hunting and have a nice heavy, unhealthy, greasy lunch to get my brain nice and chilled out from all the madness from the day on the web. It worked! I was in a food coma for the entire two hours that we sat and talked. One of the regulars, "Bob" took our pictures. He wasn't too familiar with my digital camera so snapped a shot without counting and then in the next one cut off my stylin' hat! haha!
Anyhoo, Waffle House should pay me for the plug I'm about to give it, but I really love this place, EVERYtime I go I know I am guaranteed a good time, good eats, someone so special and unique serving me, oh and a regular of the joint sipping on coffee with a good story and the best story telling voice to tell it! I stand corrected, Chelsea informed me that our photographer wasn't named "Bob," but "Pooh Bear." This makes me even happier that he took our pictures!
