La Cueca = segundo lugar

So, Dan and I danced the cueca (a traditional dance displaying the process of a courtship using handkerchiefs). After five rounds of dancing the same steps for the judges and audience, Dan and I came out with a second place win. We were excited, but super worn out. It doesn’t look like it takes too much energy to wave around a handkerchief and switch places every now and then, but our sweaty pics will tell you different.

In this pic where we are glistening with sweat, you’ll notice we’re holding our prizes. The prizes were leather cups for playing a game called colchel (spelling might be wrong here). It’s a game using five dice to come up with specific combos. It’s pretty fun and everyone here plays it whether at bars, restaurants, or at home.
i´m having an incredibly difficult time getting these pics to come out right. i apologize. just click on the squares and they should show up.
