What's new with you?

The question I'm constantly asking my friends is "What's new with you?" and the main reason why is because nothing new is happening with me! The latest news are as follows:
-new baby arrivals
-new job opportunities
-new engagements
-new marriages
-new condos/apartments

I imagine in five years the news will be:
-second baby arrivals
-new house/car
-job promotions (i hope)
-car exchange/trade (due to # increase of kids)
-wedding anniversaries

These are just to list a few. As for me, the news will probably be the same, work, work, some fun dinner parties at the house,  a concert or two, wedding photos, baby shower photos, an exotic vacation (let's hope more than less), oh and let's not forget the news of me winning the lottery!

Seriously, though, everything is exactly the same with me and I'm very happy with that. I love my jobs still, and I recently took a mini vacation to Seaside, OR. Very fun beachy town with a nice span of beach and crazy waves in the water. I didn't get in the water b/c it was way too cold, but the waves looked fierce. Here are a few pics.

These aren't the greatest respresentations of the beach, but it was cold and I've gotten really terrible at taking pictures that mean anything.

I will say that I ate at some restaurants and wasn't too impressed by any of them. However, I did notice that eggs benedict was a popular menu item at each restaurant. So if you like your eggs prepared that way, you won't be at a loss in Seaside.
These are from McKewon's restaurant in the "downtown" area of Seaside. The waiter was friendly, and the decor really stuck out with red walls and red patio umbrellas strung with miniature lanterns, attached to one wall of the place.

The Best Western Oceanside hotel was very accomodating and had a great view of the beach. The staff were friendly and I'd recommend staying there if you get a chance and can afford it. I was able to stay at a fairly low rate b/c it was Spring season and I was given a voucher from Wyndham resorts for sitting in on a promotional presentation for their timeshares. All in all it was a great three day mini vacation. I will be taking these more often, I'm sure of it!
