ready, set, pack! /uno, dos, empacar!

I'm putting job hunting on hold for a bit while I pack my things for the biggest move of my life! I'm headed out to the west coast and even though I've packed, I haven't really packed, if you know what i mean. I have a lot of things. I have to ship a large box or two tomorrow or Monday filled with just clothes. I feel completely embarassed that I've just written that statement. It's absolutely ridiculous that I can't fit all of my clothes into two huge suitcases, but it's true! Another thing I'm completely embarassed about is that a good majority of the box(es) will be filled with shoes. Yes, shoes of which only two pairs are brown, the rest are black! haha! You'd think two pairs of black shoes would suit a person, but in my case that doesn't hold true. That's a completely different entry that I won't even attempt to begin at this hour.

anyhoo, that's what i'll be doing for the next couple of days. in other news about job hunting, I received my first job rejection email today. It was sad, short and to the point so it wasn't too painful. I'm going to try and look at the bright side of the email and take it as a sign that other jobs will be responding soon. Of course i don't want them to all be rejection emails, but rather emails that tell me that i've got interviews and am closer to finally getting a job! 

voy a parar de buscar trabajo por ahora para empacar mis cosas para el traslado de mi vida. Me ire a la costa oeste y aunque ya empaque, todavia no he empacado, si me entiendes. Tengo  muchas cosas (demasiado)! Tengo que enviar dos cajas grandes manana o lunes llena con solamente ropa! que verquenza, no? es absolutamente ridiculo que no es posible poner todo mi ropa en dos maletas grandes, pero lo es verdad! otra verquenza es que la mayoria de las cajas seran llena de zapatos! Si, zapatas en que solo dos pars son del color cafe y lo demas son zapatos negros! Pensarias que dos pars de zapatos negros seria suficiente para una persona, per no en mi caso. Esto es una otra tema completamente diferente que no voy a intentar de escribir sobre lo ahora. 

bueno, esto es lo que hare por las proximas dias. en otras noticias sobre mi busqueda para trabajo, recibi mi primer rechazo hoy. Fue triste, pero era corto y franco asi que no fue tan doloroso a mi ego. Voy a intentar pensar sobre esto con un actitude positivo. esto es un signo que otros companias van a responder a mis solicitudes pronto. Pues, no quiero que todo sean rechazos, mejor que son invitaciones a entrevistas y un paso mas cerca para obtener el trabajo!
